What Is Text2Ticket?
Text2Ticket is a job reporting platform for field service contractors. It allows field technicians to submit job completion notes and photos via SMS to a dedicated phone number. The platform automatically generates a professional PDF report and delivers it to the client by email.
SMS messaging is the core input method of the Text2Ticket service. Technicians text their job notes to their company's assigned Text2Ticket number. Occasional outbound SMS messages may also be sent to confirm receipt, request missing information, or provide a review link.
Who Sends and Receives SMS Messages?
There are two distinct groups who interact with Text2Ticket via SMS:
Technicians (inbound SMS users): Field technicians employed by or contracted with a Text2Ticket subscriber company. They initiate contact by texting job notes and photos to a dedicated number assigned to their company's account.
Account holders (outbound notifications): Business owners and managers who create a Text2Ticket account may receive account-related SMS notifications, such as alerts when a report is ready for review or when a subscription payment is processed.
How Users Opt In
Consent to receive SMS messages from Text2Ticket is obtained in the following ways:
- Technicians: By sending a text message to the company's designated Text2Ticket number, technicians provide implicit consent to receive automated reply messages related to that specific job report (e.g., confirmation of receipt, requests for additional information). Their employer or contractor is responsible for informing them that the number is powered by Text2Ticket and that sending messages constitutes opt-in to this service.
- Account holders: By creating a Text2Ticket account and providing a mobile phone number, account holders consent to receive SMS notifications related to their account and service activity. This consent is confirmed during the account registration process.
We do not send unsolicited marketing SMS messages. All messages are transactional and directly related to your use of the Text2Ticket service.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your job activity:
- Technicians receive one or two reply messages per job submission (confirmation and/or report preview link)
- Account holders may receive notifications when reports are pending review, when a report is approved and sent, or for billing and account events
- No recurring promotional SMS messages are sent
How to Opt Out
To stop receiving SMS messages from Text2Ticket, reply STOP to any message at any time.
You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from Text2Ticket. To re-enable SMS notifications, contact us at hello@text2ticket.com or log in to your account dashboard.
Standard opt-out keywords are supported: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.

Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging and data rates charged by your mobile carrier apply to all SMS messages sent and received. Text2Ticket does not charge separately for SMS messages — they are included in your subscription. Check with your mobile carrier for details on your messaging plan.
Privacy of SMS Data
We take the privacy of SMS communications seriously:
- We do not sell SMS opt-in data or message content to third parties.
- We do not share SMS data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- SMS message content is used solely to generate job reports on behalf of the subscribing business.
- Phone numbers collected for SMS communication are used only for the purposes described in this policy and our Privacy Policy.

Supported Carriers
Text2Ticket SMS messaging is supported on all major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carrier support may vary. Text2Ticket is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
