We collect the following categories of information when you use Text2Ticket:
Account Information
- Name, email address, and password when you create an account
- Company name, logo, and branding preferences
- Billing information (processed securely by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)
Technician & Job Data
- Phone numbers of technicians registered to use the service
- SMS messages sent to your Text2Ticket number, including text and photos
- Job notes, work descriptions, and field observations contained in messages
- Equipment information extracted from photos (model numbers, serial numbers)
Client Information
- Client names, email addresses, and service addresses provided by you or your technicians
- Job history associated with each client
Usage & Technical Data
- Log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps
- Device information when accessing the dashboard
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies for session management
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Text2Ticket service
- Generate job completion reports from technician SMS messages and photos
- Deliver reports to your clients on your behalf
- Maintain and build your client and equipment databases
- Send you service-related communications (account alerts, billing receipts, support responses)
- Improve our AI models for report generation (using anonymized, aggregated data only)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data or your clients' data for advertising purposes.
4. SMS Data & Messaging Policy
Text2Ticket uses SMS messaging as a core part of its service. With respect to SMS data:
- We do not sell SMS data to third parties.
- We do not share SMS data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- SMS messages sent to your Text2Ticket number are processed solely to generate job reports on your behalf.
- Message content is stored securely and retained as described in Section 7 below.
- Technician phone numbers are used only to identify the sender and associate messages with the correct account.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, SMS routing via Twilio, email delivery, payment processing). These providers are contractually bound to use data only for the services they provide to us.
- Your clients: Job completion report PDFs are delivered to client email addresses you provide. You control what information is included in each report.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Text2Ticket, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, who will be bound by this Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the dashboard is used. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the service may not function properly without them. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Job reports, SMS message content, and client records are retained for a minimum of 3 years to support your business recordkeeping. You may request deletion of specific records by contacting us at hello@text2ticket.com. Upon account closure, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@text2ticket.com.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@text2ticket.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Text2Ticket is a business-to-business service not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
